I started Platinum Flat Roofing to build a company focused specifically on high-quality flat roofing rather than trying to cover every area of roofing. Who we help
Homeowners with extensions, garages, dormers, porches and balconies that need waterproofing to last, and commercial clients, managing agents, landlords, contractors and building owners, with warehouse, office, retail and industrial roofs that have to keep working while the building stays occupied. Both sides of the business receive the same standard of work and the same fixed-price approach.
What we specialise in
Single-ply membrane systems and reinforced liquid waterproofing, plus the warm roof build-ups, refurbishments, rooflight kerbs, balcony and walkway finishes, edge details and rainwater goods that go with them. We install Sika, IKO Armourplan, Danosa, Bauder single-ply, Reinforced liquid systems, matching the system to the roof rather than the other way round. Everything we do is flat roofing; that focus is why the detailing holds up.
Depth of experience
Sixteen years on flat roofs, with manufacturer training across Sika, Danosa and Bauder, experience with Siltec systems, and asbestos awareness training for work on older building stock. The business runs with a small core team and brings in additional experienced labour for larger projects, so the people welding your membrane do it every week rather than once a year.

Our standard is simple: install the roof so the next person who thinks about it is the person reading the guarantee, not a leak. That means four commitments on every project.
The right system, specified for the roof
Falls, build-up, substrate, insulation and access all change what a roof needs. We specify from that survey rather than fitting whichever system is quickest to buy, which is why we hold training across Sika, Danosa and Bauder rather than one product line.
Detailing is where roofs fail, so detailing gets the time
Upstands, outlets, kerbs, laps and terminations are where water finds its way in. Those details are formed properly and welded or reinforced to manufacturer specification, not sealed over and hoped for.
Priced in full before anyone starts
Quotations are free and fixed price as standard. There are no "from" prices and no mid-job revisions for work we should have seen on the survey.
Left safe, tidy and documented
Commercial projects are carried out with RAMS supplied, and we are asbestos awareness trained for refurbishment work on older stock. Photographic reporting is available where owners or managing agents need a record.
